Erin Martin Showroom

Erin Martin Showroom in St Helena. Erin is a dear friend (of mine) of the community and brings together the coolest and chicest assortment of lifestyle goods. Everything from handblown glass teddy bear bongs to extravagant Swarovski crystal chandeliers. It is a one stop shop for all things cool in Napa. // 1350 Main St, St Helena, erinmartindesign.com.

Hunter Gatherer

This is such a well merchandised shop in Yountville. Somehow… I always walk out with something. If you need a hat especially, this is a go-to spot. // 6795 Washington St Bldg B Yountville, huntergatherernapavalley.com

Forty Five Ten

The new kid on the block in Yountville, Forty Five Ten is a part of the one and only shop in Dallas and beings a serious level of sophistication to Napa shopping. Whether it’s gifts for him, gifts for her, or just to even gather inspiration—keep your eye on this spot. // Multiple locations, fortyfiveten.com

Napa Valley Vine Trail

This is Napa Valley’s answer to NYC’s high line. Ride or walk through 42 miles of beautiful trails stretching one one end of the valley to the other. It won’t disappoint. // 3299 Claremont Way #4, Napa, vinetrail.org.

Indian Springs

“Taking the waters” at Indian Springs in Calistoga has been a wellness tradition since the late 1800s. They recently had a very well-done facelift and it is better than ever. With Summer on the heels of the year, now is as good as ever to go take a dip. // 1712 Lincoln Ave, Calistoga, indianspringscalistoga.com.

Hiking Napa Valley

There are so many beautiful hikes in Napa—though most are unmarked. So, if you see a bunch of cars parked on the side of the road for no reason, that means there is probably a well-kept secret trailhead. Pro-tip: keep your eyes and ears open while hiking through Napa.

Southside

There are now two locations of this delicious fast-casual restaurant but both hold their excellent standards above the bar. Any place you can add carnitas to just about anything, is good in my book. Pro-tip: gorgeous patio seating in the Summer. // 2770 Old Sonoma Rd, Napa, southsidenapa.com.

Miminashi

I love this Japanese Izakaya in downtown, Napa and the soft serve flavors are insanely delicious and creative—the toasted black sesame is still in my mind and will always be on my order. // 821 Coombs St, Napa, miminashi.com.

Oxbow Market

This is the Napa version of the SF’s ferry terminal. You can find everything that is good in one place; coffee, oysters, tacos, green juice, burgers, cheese, beer. Two major thumbs up. // 610 1st St, Napa, oxbowpublicmarket.com.

Indian Springs

When I want a staycation with the meat on its bones, the Indian Springs in Calistoga is great for a laid back, old-school California experience. Plus even better for friends and family to tag along. //  1712 Lincoln Ave, Calistoga, indianspringscalistoga.com.

Auberge

Auberge are for those who want to feel luxury either by themselves, with their partner, or even for a girl’s spa day. They are the only place in the country to feature a Vintner’s Daughter facial, this has been a pro-tip. // 180 Rutherford Hill Rd, Rutherford, aubergeresorts.com.

The Archer Hotel

The Archer Hotel is right in the center of the action in downtown Napa. You get access to the lovely sky deck, chic craft cocktails at their home bar and amazingly, you can walk, pretty much, everywhere within town from this location. // 1230 1st St, Napa, archerhotel.com/napa.

Northblock Hotel

Erin Martin (first on this list) designed hotel at the north end of Yountville. The rooms are small, but chic and convenient. Frankly, how much time will you really spend in your room? This is Yountville we’re talking about. // 6757 Washington St, Yountville, northblockhotel.com.

// Thank you April for putting together this list of spots to go to when you find yourself in North Bay. April is the founder and CEO of Vintner’s Daughter. The story began in 2012 in Napa Valley when April committed herself to creating her desert island, holy grail skincare product that would offer dramatic, multi-correctional results for her myriad skin issues. Years spent working in her family’s fine wine business inspired her to apply similar world-class standards: exemplary quality, methodical formulation, and region-specific ingredient sourcing; vintnersdaughter.com.
